IT’S HOT !
While the snow goes on falling on Paris, paralyzing the whole city, I wander through Emanuela Ligabue’s website, dreaming of warm summer days freshen up by the soft blow of paper fans… Amanuela’s handpainted pieces are just beautiful and reminds me of Matisse paintings and paper cuts. This postmodernist artist from the 80’s creates very stunning objects, from paper fans to painted bags, combining retro graphics and nice color palettes. Just love it !

BLOCK SHOP SCARVES
I just found this beautiful and inspiring project on the web, and immediately fell in love with it, not only because of the rich colors and gorgeous patterns adorning their scarves, but also for their concept.
Sisters Lily and Hopie Stockman founded their own textile company in India a few years ago after they started to be passionnate about block printing and decided to support this ancient textile tradition. They associated with one of the best printers family of Bagru, the Chhipas, who are - for about five generations - strongly devoted to environmentally sustainable and socially responsible printing methods. Together, they created a unique collection of textiles printed with non-toxic vegetable dyes on the finest Indian silk-cotton blend. Simply beautiful.

CALEB OWEN EVERITT
This guy just stole my heart. I discovered his work last summer, when Refueled Magazine published an article about his stunning vintage inspired illustrations and graphics. Facsinated by anything hand made, Everitt explores how the human hands can bring subtile inperfections and reveal something authentic, true and honest through very simple and genuine design. He recently teamed up with Ryan Rhodes, his dear friend and partner in crime to create LAND, a flourishing design studio that already counts numerous impressive clients.

A PEACE TREATY
I go totally crazy for those amazing scarves by A Peace Treaty !
The story of APT started when Farah Malik and Dana Arbib decided to join forces, putting together their different background (in fashion and design for Malik and in multimedia campaigns in humanitarian causes for Arbib) and their common love for ancient, disappearing crafting creations. As a personnal pact, they gave birth to a project that would support artisans from Middle East, Asia, South America and Africa by promoting their traditional techniques and crafts and by revealing their products to an internationnal fashion audiance.

IT’S ALL ABOUT SHARING
Cooking, eating and having some good time with friends is probably one of my all time favorite, so there’s no suprise my heart jumped into my chest when I discovered this new born magazine called Gather Journal. This bi-annual recipe-driven and food publication is not only about cooking and eating, but more likely about what those acts inspire : the bringing of people together.
Each issue - divided into chapters such as “amuses bouche”, “starters”,”mains” and “desserts” - is a great source of inspiration, sharing some interresting  articles about ingredients, lushly imagined photographies, memorable eating experience, and delightful recipes.
Bon appétit !
